Commencing in September 2021 and lasting initially until July 2022, this Primary Teaching Assistant role is perfect for passionate graduates seeking school-based experience prior to applying for a PGCE or Masters from September 2022.

 

  • Primary Teaching Assistant / Primary Intervention Tutor | Croydon
  • Initially a one-year placement from September 2021-July 2022
  • Provide outstanding support to your Class Teacher
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions within Maths and Literacy
  • Find creative ways of engaging and boosting the attainment of your pupils
  • Ensuring all pupils get the chance to fulfil their potential at school
  • £350 per week | Paid weekly on a PAYE basis
  • Opportunities to progress on to Teacher Training from September 2022

 

To be considered for this Primary Teaching Assistant role you must have:

 

  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree (ideally Education focused or within a core subject area such as English, Maths or Science)
  • Exceptional A-Level and GCSE grades
  • Energy, enthusiasm, patience, resilience and a good sense of humour!
  • A strong passion for improving the outcomes of all children regardless of their background

The Headteacher is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with the knowledge and creativity to produce interactive sessions to children of varying ages to support them with their educational, emotional and social development.
