- Suitable for a 1st Class Psychology Graduate or a 1st Class Graduate with a keen interest towards working in SEND
- Outstanding Primary School in Mile End, Tower Hamlets
- Full-time Mon-Fri – 8.30am-4.30pm – September 21-July 22 – Salary is £400-£450 per week
This SEND Support Officer role is available to work alongside the school’s Assistant Headteacher for Pastoral Care and the Deputy Headteacher for SEND. Much of the work of the SEND Support Officer will be centred on medical needs, attendance and SEND (but with some administrative tasks, working with the Headteacher’s PA and Office Manager).
There will be some pupil facing elements to the role, but there would also be opportunities to work with the school’s safeguarding team, parents and a range of external professionals including a Speech and Languages Therapist, Educational Psychologist, Child Councillor and the School Nurse!
