As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will:
Create and prepare materials for 1:1 and classroom sessions to inspire learning and engagement
- Keep written records of each pupil observation.
- Supporting the emotional needs of this KS1 pupil.
- Work alongside the school SENCo and an Educational Psychologist
- Provide effective support to less experienced colleagues, modelling good practice!
This ASD Teaching Assistant role will include incredible in house and external training, created to further develop your profile, and there will be support and supervision from the SENCo. You will be supporting an eager-to-learn KS1 pupil an EHCP for autism. The school have described him as a delightful pupil who requires additional support, especially with managing his emotions.
