An ambitious secondary school in Feltham, Hounslow is offering an exciting English Teacher + TLR role for September 2025.
This permanent, full-time role is ideal for an experienced English specialist ready to teach KS3–KS4 while leading on curriculum, mentoring colleagues, and driving departmental progress.
This is an ideal opportunity for a current English Teacher looking to step into middle leadership within a supportive school that values strong teaching, reflective practice, and cross-departmental collaboration.
English Teacher + TLR – Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3–KS4
- Take a lead on curriculum, pedagogy or assessment strategy
- Mentor colleagues or contribute to ECT development
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Person Specification:
- UK QTS and English or Humanities-related degree
- 3+ years’ teaching experience preferred
- Track record of strong pupil progress and engagement
- Experience or interest in mentoring others
