Science Teacher – Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science Teacher lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Follow the school curriculum and assessment frameworks effectively

• Plan engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire student progress

• Communicate confidently with parents and carers regarding progress

• Support SEND students in collaboration with school staff

• Uphold high expectations of behaviour and classroom conduct

• Play an active role in department planning and resource sharing

• Contribute to the broader school community and events

• Be proactive, creative, and flexible in your approach to teaching

Science Teacher – Person Specification:

• 1:1 Science degree from a top 20 UK university

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management

• Passionate about working with young people, including those with SEND

• A genuine team player who contributes positively to staff culture

• Desire and drive to progress to middle or senior leadership
