Maths Tutor – Maths Support Role

Location: Greenwich
Contract: January 2026 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)

Are you a Maths graduate looking to gain experience in education?

A well-regarded secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a Maths Tutor to provide targeted intervention support for students across KS3 and KS4.

As a Maths Tutor, you’ll work with pupils to provide academic mentoring, small-group and 1:1 intervention sessions, and classroom support. You’ll help learners who are underachieving or face barriers to learning, promoting engagement and confidence in Mathematics.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing in-class support in Mathematics
• Running 1:1 and small-group interventions for underachieving students
• Assisting with lesson resources, planning, and marking
• Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds

This role is ideal for aspiring Maths teachers or graduates keen to support students in achieving their full potential in Mathematics.

We’re looking for:

• A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Mathematics or a related field
• A genuine interest in education and student development
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Commitment from January to July 2026
