Music Graduate TA | Southwark | Immediate Start

Are you an enthusiastic Music Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school while exploring a clear pathway into teacher training?

Ribbons & Reeves are seeking a motivated and committed Music Graduate TA to join one of our partner schools in Southwark, starting immediately, with the opportunity to progress into Teacher Training from September.

As a Music Graduate TA, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils in Music

• Support the delivery of practical and theory-based Music lessons

• Assist pupils with composition, performance and listening tasks

• Help build pupils’ confidence and engagement in Music

• Support rehearsals, coursework and controlled assessment preparation

• Contribute to a positive and well-organised classroom environment

We are looking for a Music Graduate TA who:

• Holds at least a 2:1 degree in a Music-related subject

• Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine interest in Music education

• Is confident working with young people and supporting learning in the classroom

• Is reliable, enthusiastic and keen to gain school-based experience

• Can commit to working full-time in a school setting

In return, you will:

• Gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive Music department

• Work alongside experienced teachers and subject specialists

• Have access to a clear route into teacher training from September

• Make a direct impact on pupils’ progress and enjoyment of Music

• Receive a weekly salary of £450–£500, with the opportunity to move onto a £28,000–£29,000 salary from September
