English Tutor | Bromley | Immediate Start

Would you like to support pupils in developing strong reading, writing and communication skills while gaining school-based experience?

Role: English Tutor

Location: Bromley, South London

Pay: £444 – £513 per week (inclusive of holiday pay)

Contract: Full-time, Immediate start, 1-year contract (extension possible)

Visa: No visa sponsorship

This English Tutor position is ideal for a graduate interested in education, literacy or teaching.

English Tutor | The Role:

• Providing targeted English support to GCSE and A-Level students.
• Assisting pupils with reading comprehension, essay writing and exam preparation.
• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small intervention groups.
• Helping pupils build confidence in spoken and written English.
• Working closely with English teachers to support classroom learning.

English Tutor | Person Specification:

• A 1:1 or 2:1 degree in English or a related subject.
• A strong grasp of English Language and/or Literature.
• The ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt to different learners.
• A calm, supportive and reliable approach.
