Geography ECT – Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Engage and inspire pupils through creative and inclusive teaching methods

• Effectively manage behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies

• Work collaboratively within a large, supportive department

• Plan and assess pupil progress with a focus on raising attainment

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers on student development

• Tailor teaching to support the needs of SEND learners

• Play an active role in whole-school initiatives and enrichment opportunities

• Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional growth

Geography ECT – Person Specification:

• 1:1 Geography degree from a top 20 UK university

• QTS achieved or pending for September start

• Confident in classroom and behaviour management

• Supportive, flexible, and adaptive in a team setting

• Proactive and creative approach to lesson planning

• Passionate about developing your teaching career in Redbridge
