Health & Social Care Teacher – April 2026 Start

Are you a passionate Health and Social Care Teacher looking to inspire the next generation?

We are working in partnership with a thriving secondary school to recruit a passionate Health & Social Care Teacher to join their successful Social Science department from April 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner to deliver high-quality vocational education, teaching T-Level Health and BTEC Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4–5 and supporting students as they prepare for careers within the healthcare sector.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and practical lessons in T-Level Health
• Teach BTEC Health & Social Care (desirable)
• Prepare students for further study and careers in healthcare professions
• Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking vocational department
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Relevant Level 6 qualification within a healthcare-related field
• Occupational experience in healthcare (e.g. nursing, clinical practice, health sector lecturing)
• Ability to teach T-Level Health programmes
• Experience teaching BTEC Health & Social Care (advantageous)
• A strong commitment to improving outcomes for learners
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A proactive, adaptable, and resilient approach
