SEN Learning Support Assistant – Kensington and Chelsea

 

Are you an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant ready to support pupils with additional needs in an Outstanding primary school?

 

An Outstanding primary school in Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join its team. This SEN Learning Support Assistant role sits within a school recognised by Ofsted in 2024 for exceptional quality of education, behaviour and leadership; delivering an ambitious curriculum and maintains high expectations for all pupils, including those with SEND.

 

The Role – SEN Learning Support Assistant

 

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:

 

•             Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND in class

•             Deliver structured interventions in literacy and numeracy

•             Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

•             Support pupils’ communication and language development

•             Be confident in behaviour management

•             Liaise with teachers and external professionals to implement support plans

•             Understanding of EHCPs and targeted intervention strategies
