A high-performing, Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Secondary & Sixth Form in Haringey is seeking a talented Science 2iC to join their ambitious department from September 2026. The role – Science 2iC:
- Lead on curriculum development and assessment within a key discipline
- Deliver high-quality, data-informed Science teaching across KS3–KS5
- Support departmental strategy, mentoring and intervention planning
- Drive attainment and uphold consistently high behaviour expectations
The school is looking for:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 or higher from a reputable university
- Substantial classroom experience in a UK Secondary setting
- Evidence of structured curriculum delivery and measurable pupil progress
- Confidence operating within established behaviour frameworks
- Legal entitlement to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Salary: Outer London MPS £37,870–£50,474 (UPS up to £56,154) + TLR (Inner London MPS £40,317–£52,300, UPS up to £62,496 where applicable).
