Are you a First Class Maths graduate with ambitions to become a teacher?

A high-performing secondary school in Lewisham is seeking a First Class Maths Graduate to join their team. This role would suit a recent graduate who is considering teacher training in the future and would like to gain valuable classroom experience first.

You will be supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 in Maths lessons, working closely with the department to deliver small group interventions and one-to-one support. This is an excellent opportunity to build confidence in the classroom and develop the skills needed for teacher training.

First Class Maths Graduate – Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils in Maths lessons across KS3–KS4
• Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions
• Assist with lesson preparation and resources
• Help prepare pupils for GCSE examinations
• Work closely with experienced teachers and middle leaders

Person Specification:
• First Class degree in Maths from a reputable university
• Strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills
• Confident, reliable and keen to pursue a career in teaching
• Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
