The role – Permanent Maths 2iC role

This Maths 2iC will support the Head of Department in curriculum development, data analysis and quality assurance. The successful Maths 2iC will model outstanding classroom practice, drive intervention strategies and contribute to staff coaching. Delivering rigorous, structured lessons and securing measurable pupil progress are central to this Maths 2iC position. Wider contribution to enrichment, including competitions and STEM initiatives, is expected.

 

Applicants for this Maths 2iC role must:

  • Hold UK QTS or be completing a UK-recognised teacher training programme
  • Possess a strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 or above from a reputable (Russell Group desirable) university
  • Demonstrate substantial UK secondary classroom experience with proven impact on outcomes
  • Provide evidence of structured curriculum delivery and measurable progress
  • Be confident within established behaviour frameworks
  • Be legally entitled to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

 

Outer London MPS: £37,870–£50,474 (UPS up to £56,154) + TLR.
