The Role

As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful Design and Technology Teacher will inspire students to develop creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities for this Design and Technology Teacher role include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Design and Technology lessons
• Teaching across specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Graphics
• Supporting students in developing design, making, and evaluation skills
• Ensuring a safe and well-managed workshop environment
• Assessing, tracking, and monitoring student progress
• Contributing to curriculum development and extracurricular activities

We are seeking a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Has a passion for creativity and innovation
