About the Role

A forward-thinking and well-resourced secondary school in Richmond is seeking a talented Design and Technology Teacher to join their successful department from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Design and Technology Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school places a strong emphasis on creativity, innovation, and practical learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons as a Design and Technology Teacher
• Teach a range of DT disciplines (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics)
• Plan and assess student progress in line with curriculum expectations
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Design and Technology department
• Support extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs or design projects

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching as a Design and Technology Teacher in a UK secondary setting
