SEN Teaching Assistant - What the Role Involves

- Supporting pupils to access the curriculum confidently and engage positively with school life
- Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and feeding back regularly to the class teacher and SENDCO
- Building consistent, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and the wider multi-disciplinary team
SEN Teaching Assistant - What the School is Looking For
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience, particularly with pupils with SEN in a UK school or educational setting, is highly valued. The school is seeking a compassionate, patient, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to making a difference.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Salary and Contract Info
- £444 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
