Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Do you have previous experience working with children? A highly respected specialist primary school in Wandsworth, Southfields is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This well-established school supports over 250 pupils with a wide range of complex learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions and communication needs. With all pupils having EHCPs and access to specialist therapeutic support, this is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant to gain invaluable experience within a highly supportive environment.

SEN Teaching Assistant role starting in September on a full-time contract
• £110-£120 per day with excellent long-term career prospects
• Outstanding CPD, specialist SEN training and continuous professional development

• Work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and SEN specialists
SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small class settings
• Fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy or occupational therapy
• School provides extensive specialist training in autism, communication and behaviour support strategies
• Based in Wandsworth, Southfields with excellent transport links
SEN Teaching Assistant will help pupils develop communication, social and independence skills
• Support pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs
• Strong staff wellbeing programme and highly supportive leadership team
• Previous experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals is desirable for the SEN Teaching Assistant role
• A degree is advantageous, although not essential, for the successful SEN Teaching Assistant
• Patience, empathy, resilience and excellent communication skills are essential qualities
