A highly regarded Prep School in Notting Hill is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with additional needs in a nurturing and ambitious school environment.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to provide tailored support to pupils, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Learning Support Assistant – Role Overview
- Full-time, long-term position from September 2026
- £110–£120 per day (term-time only)
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals
- Excellent opportunity for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Therapists or Teachers
Learning Support Assistant – Person Specification
- 2:1 degree or higher from a leading UK university
- Previous experience working with children or young people preferred
- Passion for supporting pupils with SEND
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, proactive and nurturing approach
