The school is looking for a Secondary Cover Supervisor who:
- Has previous school-based experience, ideally as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or similar
- Alternatively, is a graduate with a genuine interest in developing a career in education
- Is confident managing a classroom and maintaining high expectations of behaviour
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can deliver pre-planned lessons and keep students engaged in learning
- Is resilient, organised and adaptable
- Builds positive relationships with students and staff
As a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the usual teacher, deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning. You will work across different subjects and year groups, providing valuable support to the wider teaching team.
