Deputy Director of Maths – Hounslow, West London

We’re working with one of our closest partner schools to recruit a Deputy Director of Maths. This is an opportunity to join a globally recognised school, develop your leadership skills and help shape a successful Maths department.

Location: Hounslow, West London
Salary: £40,317–£57,819, depending on experience, plus TLR
Start Date: November 2026 or January 2027

Working alongside the Director of Maths, you’ll take a leading role in curriculum development, assessment and pupil progress. You’ll coach and develop colleagues while modelling excellent classroom practice in a school with strong attainment and high uptake of Maths at A-level.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping shape the vision and direction of the Maths department
• Developing an engaging, ambitious curriculum that prepares pupils for A-level and beyond
• Monitoring progress and ensuring pupils receive the support they need
• Line managing, coaching and developing Maths teachers
• Working with primary colleagues to support progression across the school

You’ll be a qualified teacher with QTS, a good honours degree and at least two years’ secondary teaching experience. You’ll bring strong subject knowledge, a track record of helping pupils achieve excellent results and the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
