KS2 Teacher | Bromley

Are you an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Bromley? A primary school is looking for a dedicated teacher to join its team and take responsibility for delivering engaging lessons across Upper KS2.

The successful KS2 Teacher will have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and be confident preparing pupils for the transition into secondary education. Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching a KS2 class across the primary curriculum.
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Supporting pupils with literacy and numeracy development.
• Preparing pupils for statutory assessments where appropriate.
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress.
• Supporting pupils with different learning needs.
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour.
• Working closely with parents, carers and colleagues.

The successful KS2 Teacher will:

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within KS2.
• Have strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Be confident teaching literacy and mathematics.
• Have high expectations for pupil achievement.
• Be able to create a positive and inclusive classroom.
• Have strong communication and organisational skills.
