Cover Supervisor – Chelmsford

We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chelmsford.

The successful candidate must have previous experience in teaching, mentoring or tutoring and hold a degree from a recognised UK university, achieving a First-Class or 2:1 classification.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about education and keen to make a positive impact on students' learning and development. You will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and maintaining a positive, productive learning environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a degree from a recognised UK university with a First-Class or 2:1 classification.
• Has previous experience in teaching, mentoring or tutoring.
• Can confidently manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations.
• Is able to follow lesson plans and ensure students remain focused and engaged.
• Has excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Is adaptable, proactive and able to use their initiative.
• Builds positive relationships with students and staff.
• Is committed to supporting students' academic progress and wellbeing.
