Primary Teacher | Job Role
- Teach secondary-aged pupils working at a KS2 level, adapting primary curriculum content to their individual abilities and learning needs.
- Deliver engaging lessons across core subjects, supporting academic progress and essential skills.
- Teach small groups of up to 6 pupils and provide 1:1 support where required.
- Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, trauma-related backgrounds, and behavioural challenges.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources creatively to engage pupils who may struggle with traditional classroom approaches.
- Build trusting relationships while promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence.
- Demonstrate patience, resilience, flexibility, and creativity when responding to challenging situations.
- Combine effective teaching with holistic pastoral support.
