SEND Support Worker | Basildon | ASAP

Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Support Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs?

A welcoming school in Basildon is seeking a dedicated SEND Support Worker to join their team, providing essential support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As a SEND Support Worker, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Support children with autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and other learning needs.
• Help pupils engage with classroom activities and access the curriculum.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive social interactions.
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored support.

The ideal SEND Support Worker will:

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Be patient, nurturing and proactive.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
• Be confident managing challenging behaviour and adapting to individual needs.
