Secondary SENDCo – Ealing – September 2025 Start

We are recruiting for a Secondary SENDCo position at a successful and inclusive Secondary School located in Ealing. This Secondary SENDCo role is available from September 2025 and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive leadership team dedicated to delivering outstanding SEND provision.

Responsibilities of a Secondary SENDCo:

  • Lead the SEND provision across the school, ensuring high-quality support for all learners with additional needs

  • Coordinate EHCPs, access arrangements, and work closely with external agencies and parents

  • Line manage and support a team of Teaching Assistants and key support staff

  • Oversee and develop the school’s SEND strategy in line with national guidelines

  • Work as part of the wider SLT to support inclusion and whole-school improvement

The successful Secondary SENDCo will:

  • Hold QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it)

  • Have significant experience supporting SEND students in a mainstream secondary setting

  • Be a strong communicator with leadership qualities and a clear vision for inclusion

  • Demonstrate a track record of improving outcomes for students with additional needs
