Year 6 Teacher | Richmond | September 2025 Start

A friendly and high-achieving primary school in Richmond is searching for a confident Year 6 Teacher to join the team from September 2025. This Year 6 Teacher role is ideal for someone with experience in upper Key Stage 2 who thrives under the responsibility of preparing pupils for secondary school.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you’ll be leading your class through their final year of primary school, with a focus on high expectations, SATs preparation, and boosting pupil confidence. The Year 6 Teacher will work with other KS2 teachers and SLT to ensure consistent standards and shared best practice. As Year 6 Teacher, you’ll also play a key role in supporting transitions and providing pastoral care at a crucial stage.

Year 6 Teacher – Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and teach engaging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum
• Prepare pupils for SATs and secondary transition
• Maintain excellent records of pupil progress
• Build strong working relationships with families

Requirements:
• UK QTS is required
• Experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for KS2 SATs is highly desirable
