Science ECT – Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Science ECT lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and assess student work in line with curriculum expectations

  • Contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking Science team

  • Focus on pupil progress and attainment within your Science ECT teaching

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

  • Uphold strong classroom behaviour expectations

  • Work closely with SEND colleagues to ensure all students thrive

  • Show initiative and creativity in lesson planning and delivery

  • Embrace opportunities to progress toward middle and senior leadership roles

Science ECT – Person Specification:

  • 1:1 Science or related degree from a top 20 UK university

  • QTS (or expected by September)

  • Confident in behaviour management and lesson leadership

  • Supportive and proactive when working with SEND pupils

  • Flexible, adaptive, and collaborative team player

  • Clear and professional communication skills
