Science Academic Mentor | Bromley
Are you a First-Class Science Graduate from a Top UK University considering a career in teaching as a Science Academic Mentor?
We are working with a great Secondary School in Bromley who are looking for an ambitious Science graduate who is eager to gain teaching experience as a Science Academic Mentor.
You will be responsible for assisting KS3-KS4 students, providing 1:1 and academic support in multiple KS3 & KS4 scenarios and run group sessions for those who need it most.
- Science Academic Mentor
- Term time work only
- Assisting with delivering engaging and interactive lessons to young learners.
- Collaborating with and following guidance of SLT members
- £475-550 per week (inclusive of holiday pay) – Paid weekly via PAYE
- Secondary School in Bromley, Southeast London
- Science Academic Mentor role starting September 2025

What do I need to become a Science Academic Mentor?
- Obtained a degree in Science Degree from a Russell Group University
- Has previous experience and enthusiasm for working with children (preferred)
- Exhibit excellent communication and organisational skills, patience and resilience
