About the SENDCo Role
As SENDCo, you will be responsible for leading the school’s SEND strategy, ensuring that students with special educational needs and disabilities receive the right support to thrive. You’ll work closely with colleagues, families, external agencies, and senior leaders to maintain and enhance high standards of inclusion.
SENDCo Requirements
We are seeking a confident, experienced SEND professional who:
- Holds the National Award for SEND Coordination (NASENCo)
- Has a proven track record of improving outcomes for students with SEND
- Is a data-driven practitioner, able to use assessment and progress data to plan, implement, and evaluate effective interventions
- Has experience managing EHCPs, funding applications, and reviews with clarity and precision
- Is an excellent communicator and a strategic thinker, capable of working collaboratively and influencing others
