Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

A friendly secondary school in Wandsworth is looking to recruit a Graduate Learning Mentor to support pupils across a range of subjects. This Graduate Learning Mentor role is ideal for graduates interested in gaining classroom experience before teacher training or a PGCE.
In this Graduate Learning Mentor role, you’ll support pupils with their learning and behaviour, run academic interventions, and assist teachers with lesson preparation and resource organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in lessons and providing additional learning support
- Running small group and 1:1 academic and behavioural interventions
- Assisting teachers with lesson resources and classroom management
- Monitoring pupil progress and supporting their personal development
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in any degree subject
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An interest in education and supporting young people
- Commitment to the full academic year
Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees, even with a UK Master’s. Sponsorship is not available, so applicants must have UK citizenship or settled status.
