This is an ideal opportunity for aspiring SEND leaders who are passionate about inclusion and want to play a pivotal role in supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

 

The Role | Assistant SENDCo

As Assistant SENDCo, you will support the SENDCo in ensuring that all pupils with SEND receive tailored, high-quality support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping identify pupil needs and coordinating targeted interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate SEND records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents/carers, and external agencies.
  • Promoting inclusive teaching strategies across the school.
  • Supporting the delivery of the school’s SEND policy and provision.
