- Contributing to the preparation of individual support plans and progress tracking
- Encouraging pupil independence while maintaining consistent routines and expectations
SEND Teaching Assistant – What the School is Looking For
We’re looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who brings compassion, adaptability, and a genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs. A 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university is required, and any experience in child-focused roles such as tutoring, mentoring, or youth work is highly valued. You’ll need excellent communication skills, a calm and patient approach, and a willingness to learn within a collaborative school environment.

SEND Teaching Assistant – Salary and Contract Info
- £444 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract: September 2025 to July 2026
- Term-time only (school holidays off)
- Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts for the right candidate
