Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

A high-performing secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a STEM Graduate Academic Mentor to support pupils across Maths and Science in KS3 and KS4. This STEM Graduate Academic Mentor role is ideal for someone looking to gain school experience ahead of teacher training, educational psychology, or a future in STEM outreach.
As a STEM Graduate Academic Mentor, you will deliver small group interventions and 1:1 support, helping pupils develop their understanding and confidence in core STEM subjects. You’ll also support classroom learning and work closely with department leads to plan resources and review progress.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored Maths and Science support to small groups
- Supporting GCSE preparation and revision
- Assisting with practical classroom activities
- Tracking and encouraging pupil progress
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Engineering
- Previous experience working with young people
- Excellent subject knowledge and strong communication skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
