Maths Graduate Tutor – Richmond – September 2025 Start
Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: Full-Time | Term Time Only (39 weeks)
Hours: 08:30–15:30, Monday to Friday
Pay: £23,500 per annum (Pro Rata) – Outer London
Start Date: September 2025 or as soon as possible
Are you a Maths graduate keen to work in a school setting as a Maths Graduate Tutor this September?
An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Richmond is looking for a Maths Graduate Tutor to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. This Maths Graduate Tutor role is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to make a direct impact on pupil progress while gaining invaluable classroom experience.
As a Maths Graduate Tutor, you will work alongside class teachers, deliver small group sessions and provide 1:1 support for students who are working below their target grades. You’ll also support high-achieving students to stretch their thinking and build confidence ahead of exams.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting GCSE students through tailored Maths interventions
- Providing in-class and out-of-class assistance across year groups
- Helping develop numeracy confidence and problem-solving skills
- Liaising with the Maths department to track pupil progress
- Encouraging engagement through fun and interactive methods
We’re looking for:
- A strong academic background in Maths (2:1 or above)
- Confident communicators with a calm, clear teaching style
- Genuine interest in education and long-term career in schools
