Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

An Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Richmond is searching for a Humanities Graduate Teaching Assistant to support across their vibrant Humanities faculty. As a Humanities Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll gain valuable experience supporting lessons, leading small groups, and working with pupils preparing for GCSEs.
 
This Humanities Graduate Teaching Assistant role would suit an academic and enthusiastic graduate keen to explore a teaching career.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in History, Geography and Politics lessons
  • Helping students with writing and revision techniques
  • Running subject-specific interventions
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs

We’re looking for:

  • A 2:1 or above in a Humanities subject
  • A passion for education and young people
  • Some experience with secondary-aged children or tutoring
  • Full-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026
