SLD Specialist Teaching Experience – Enfield – January 2026 Start

The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university and have prior child-centred experience, ideally within an SLD or complex needs setting. Schools are particularly interested in candidates who hold, or are willing to complete, SLD-relevant training, such as:

• Manual Handling / Moving & Handling
• Personal Care training
• Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Team Teach or equivalent de-escalation training
• Safeguarding Level 1 or above
• Makaton or alternative communication methods

SLD Specialist Teaching Experience – Salary and Contract Info

• £444 per week, pro rata to term time only
• Full-time, long-term role (January–July)
• Term-time only
