Are you looking to build experience supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties within a specialist educational setting? This PMLD Assistant opportunity in Bromley from September 2026 would suit a compassionate and proactive graduate or experienced support worker looking to make a meaningful impact on pupils with complex needs.
This PMLD Assistant role is based within a specialist provision where pupils require tailored support across communication, sensory regulation, personal care and learning development. Staff work closely with therapists, teachers and families to create structured and supportive environments that allow pupils to develop confidence, independence and engagement throughout the school day.
The successful PMLD Assistant will provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with complex learning difficulties, physical disabilities and additional medical or sensory needs. This PMLD Assistant role would suit aspiring SEN Teachers, Speech & Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists or graduates interested in specialist education.
