About the School
This Haringey secondary school and sixth form sits at the heart of one of London's most culturally diverse communities, and its Performing Arts provision reflects that energy with real ambition. Drama and Dance are taught as distinct, rigorous disciplines across KS3 and KS4, with strong GCSE uptake and a sixth form enrichment programme that gives students genuine performance experience and creative autonomy. Behaviour is managed through consistent whole-school expectations that give every Drama & Dance Teacher the stability to create bold, imaginative learning experiences. Annual productions, visiting artist programmes, and links with professional theatre and dance companies bring the curriculum to life beyond the timetable.
What the School Offers
- A well-equipped Performing Arts suite with dedicated studio, stage, and production facilities
- A school calendar built around performance, giving Drama & Dance genuine visibility and status
- Structured CPD with pathways into arts leadership or wider middle leadership responsibility
- A diverse, creatively engaged pupil community that brings passion and presence into every lesson
- Strong cross-faculty collaboration with Music and wider Arts colleagues
The Role
As a Drama & Dance Teacher, you will deliver technically informed, imaginative lessons across KS3 and KS4, developing pupils' skills in performance, devising, and choreography progressively through each year group. You will contribute to productions, support sixth form enrichment, use assessment to track individual development, and build strong relationships with pupils and families who often find their greatest confidence within your classroom.

- Hold British QTS or are completing a UK-accredited teacher training programme
- Graduated with a 2:1 or above in Drama, Dance, Theatre Studies, or a related discipline from a reputable UK university
