- Implement personalised strategies to support engagement, communication and emotional regulation
- 1:1 SEN Support Assistant will work closely with teaching staff, parents and external agencies
- Support the pupil both within lessons and during unstructured times throughout the school day
- Help create a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Monitor progress and contribute towards SEND support plans
- 1:1 SEN Support Assistant applicants should have previous experience supporting children with SEND
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD is highly desirable
- Strong communication, patience and adaptability are essential
- 1:1 SEN Support Assistant candidates should be proactive, resilient and passionate about supporting young people
- A background in Psychology, Education or a related field would be advantageous
