Are you a Physics graduate ready to train as a teacher? A high-performing secondary school with a successful Sixth Form in Barking & Dagenham is seeking a Physics Trainee Teacher to join them on a permanent basis from September 2026.
This Physics Trainee Teacher opportunity offers a salaried teacher training programme, paid on the Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale, providing an excellent pathway to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

As a Physics Trainee Teacher, you'll work alongside experienced teachers, gradually taking responsibility for planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons. Physics Trainee Teacher - Person Specification:
- Minimum 2:1 degree in Physics or a closely related subject from a UK university
- Strong academic record at GCSE and A-Level
- Passion for Physics and a desire to pursue a career in teaching
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability and ambition to teach Physics to A-Level
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
