We are working with a Good-rated primary school seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children's learning, development and wellbeing. The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will help create an engaging, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

The role of EYFS Teaching Assistant will involve:

  • Supporting children aged 3-4 throughout the Nursery setting
  • Working alongside the teacher as a proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting engaging, play-based learning activities
  • Encouraging children's social, emotional and communication development
  • Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence
  • Creating a safe and inclusive environment as an EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and the wider school team

The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years or Nursery setting
  • A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for Early Years education
  • A commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing
