  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure consistent, personalised support.
  • Help create a positive, structured and engaging learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, ideally within a primary school.
  • Experience supporting children with autism and/or Down's syndrome is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Makaton, Colourful Semantics and Bucket Time would be advantageous.
  • Confident supporting pupils both in the classroom and through individual interventions.
  • Patient, proactive and adaptable, with excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Reliable and committed to building a positive, long-term relationship with the pupil.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to make a meaningful difference to a child's education and development. The successful candidate will work from 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and must demonstrate reliability and a commitment to the long-term nature of the role.
