As a SEMH Reintegration Officer, you will deliver six-week, individualised programmes, working with students, families and schools to develop tailored reintegration plans and build the confidence, independence and coping strategies needed to re-engage with learning.

Through home visits and school-based sessions, you will support students with a gradual return to the classroom, using CBT-informed strategies, life skills development and graded exposure to help overcome barriers to attendance.

  • Deliver personalised, short-term interventions with clear reintegration goals.
  • Gain valuable experience working collaboratively with families, schools and mental health professionals.

What do you need?

  • At least one year's experience working within an SEMH provision.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage vulnerable young people and their families.
  • A patient, resilient and empathetic approach to supporting students experiencing barriers to education.
