Applicants must hold a UK-recognised degree with a First-Class or Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) classification, alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

About the School

The school is committed to providing a supportive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential. With a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, positive behaviour and high standards of teaching and learning, the school aims to ensure every child receives the support and encouragement they need to succeed.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and the wider school team to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

The Role – Qualified Primary Teacher

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

  • Assess, monitor and track pupils' progress, providing feedback to support their development.

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning styles.

  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement and a love of learning.

  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

  • Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement, progress and behaviour.

  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other staff to provide effective classroom support.

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

  • Contribute to planning, assessment and wider school activities.

  • Ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times.

What We're Looking For

The ideal Qualified Primary Teacher will have:

  • A UK-recognised degree with a First-Class or Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) classification.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • A strong academic background and a genuine commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting, although Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.

  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A positive, proactive and flexible approach to teaching.

  • A commitment to inclusion and meeting the needs of all pupils.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.

  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

  • The right to work in the UK and the ability to meet the school's safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.
