Art Teacher – Ilford, Redbridge

Art Teacher – Role Overview

• Work with an experienced team of Teachers who will support you as an Art Teacher and encourage your professional development

• Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities if suitable and appropriate

• Full-time, permanent position, starting January 2027

• Salary: Paid to scale, Outer London Teacher Pay Scale depending on experience

• Located in Ilford, Redbridge, with excellent transport links

Art Teacher – Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3-KS4

• Inspire students to explore different artistic techniques, mediums and creative processes

• Develop students' practical Art skills, knowledge and confidence

• Work collaboratively with the Art department to deliver an engaging curriculum

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Art Teacher – Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

• Degree in Art, Fine Art or a related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Art curriculum

• Previous experience teaching Art is desirable
