ASD Teaching Assistant | Marylebone, Northwest London

£100–£120 per day PAYE
Temporary | Full-time

We are looking for a compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist independent school in Marylebone, supporting pupils with autism, social communication difficulties and associated learning needs.

The school offers small class sizes and a therapeutic approach, focusing on developing pupils' communication, independence, academic abilities and emotional wellbeing.

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, develop social skills and manage emotional regulation. You will work alongside teaching staff and therapists to deliver personalised support and encourage independence.

ASD Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with ASD, ideally in a specialist SEN setting
• Understanding of autism, social communication and sensory processing needs
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Ability to build positive relationships and encourage independence
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people's development
