Calling all Graduates and Aspiring Psychologists…. Does working at an OFSTED-rated ‘Outstanding’ school where you could help children with SEND needs interest you? If so, at Ribbons & Reeves, we are looking for an enthusiastic and supportive 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to work for a year at one of Barnet's schools, helping students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

1:1 SEND Support Assistant | About the role:

  • You could earn up to £105 a day (including holiday pay!) | Paid via PAYE.
  • You will be provided with full training before undertaking the role.
  • You’ll be supporting children with SEND with their class work, along with implementing skills and strategies developed in the classroom.
  • You will be leading your extracurricular sessions or 1:1 sessions with children outside of the classroom to assist their learning further, and developing your skills.
  • You will become a friendly face for children with ASD to see around school. 

1:1 SEND Support Assistant | About you:

  • A First-Class Degree in Psychology or a related subject.
  • Child-Centred Experience.
  • Aspirations to become a Psychologist or Therapist in the future.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a calm temperament.
