Are you a top Languages Graduate, interested in supporting students with Languages at GCSE, and up to A-Level? Are you confident in teaching Spanish and French to students up to KS5, and running intervention sessions?

I am working with a top secondary school in Harrow, searching for a Languages Support Assistant to monitor students' progress throughout the academic year, provide support in small group interventions and 1:1 sessions, and work alongside the MFL department to ensure adequate support is provided to each student.

Our client school is a welcoming and diverse school, where each student, teacher and member of staff are valued for their differences, and each voice is heard. We are looking to speak with Languages Support Assistants who are confident, are looking to work in Education or with Langauges in the future, and who are always willing to learn!

Languages Support Assistant | About the role:

  • Work in a top secondary school in Harrow, on a Term-Time-Only basis.
  • A Languages Support Assistant can earn up to £105 a day | Paid weekly via PAYE.
  • Carry out 1:1 and small group intervention sessions for students struggling with their languages GCSEs
  • Use your knowledge of linguistics to assist students with EAL
  • Work under the supervision of the Head of MFL to support students throughout the school
  • Full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 4 pm

Languages Support Assistant | About you:

  • Graduated with a minimum 2:1 in a Language, Linguistics or a related subject at a Top 20 UK University
  • Experience supporting children with their academics will be advantageous
  • You are looking to gain very beneficial experience to apply for a Masters, or before delving into the world of education.
  • You are passionate and committed to supporting children with their academic
  • Be willing to complete all necessary training to support students.
