Autism Support Assistant | Lambeth

Are you passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you believe in providing equal educational opportunities for all pupils?

An inclusive school in Lambeth is seeking caring and dedicated Autism Support Assistants with prior experience supporting children with SEN.

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-on-one support to pupils in an Additional Resource Provision.
• Collaborate closely with the SENDCo and other trained professionals.

Autism Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), autism, and ADHD, either individually or in small groups.
• Assist the SENDCo and SEN professionals in delivering support outside mainstream education.
• Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all children, aiding their learning and development.

Autism Support Assistant - Qualifications:

• A degree in Psychology from a UK University.
• Previous experience working with children, along with a genuine passion for it.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience.
